It was one of those days. I was about to be late for work and had nothing to wear. What I did have a huge pile of rejected clothes scattered across my bed. That one was too tight, that one accented my bumps and lumps, that one showed off my flabby arms, that one accented my unsightly knees. And the list went on. I realized it was not the clothes I was struggling with, I mean I am a Lularoe consultant, I have tons of gorgeous clothes. The real problem was the five pounds I had gained and a lousy body image.

Remember No BODY Is Perfect
Think of everyone you know. Now think beyond that, think of everyone in the world. Do any of them have a perfect body? Anyone in the world? No, not even Beyonce. Celebrities like Beyonce base their whole career on making us believe they have perfect bodies. They use make up, support garments, filters and tons of money. They use every moment they have exercising, toning, waxing, smoothing, shaving and worrying about every little lump, bump and pound. Most celebrities are judged on how they look and because of this most of them have a very low self esteem. Their fans expect them to be perfect and deep down, celebrities know that no matter how hard they try, they will never be perfect.
If we wait to love our bodies until we are perfect, we will wait forever. No one is perfect. The most freeing thing I ever learned is that I can love my body now, and still want to improve it. I can love my body while it is imperfect. Once I discovered this truth, I felt such a burden lift. No one is perfect. The trick is to focus on what we do love now..
