So you just discovered Lularoe, an amazing clothing company. (If you haven’t yet heard of it yet, you can learn more here.) Your hostess says not to worry about the size, just try on what you like. But really, if you are a size large, common sense says an extra small will not work. But some of those smalls look pretty big. If you just had some type of base line to go by. As a consultant and an addict myself I’ve put together a few guidelines for some of the Lularoe sizing and styles we have. Shopping available here. Much of the sizing of Lularoe depends on the fabric. Some of the fabric is very stretchy, I mean seriously you could fit two of you in there if you wanted to. Most of the fabric has a good stretch, which allows you to go up from the recommended size. Then there is the material that has zero, zilch, absolutely no stretch. With this fabric you may want to consider going down from the recommended size. As you can probably tell, there is not a set science to Lularoe sizing. It is best to try it on to find your best fit. If buying online, always ask your consultant how stretchy the material is. Do not assume because you have one medium, you will always wear a medium. Now on to more details.

The Classic Tee This shirt has short sleeves and a scoop neck. It has a high low hem. Because it is generous in the hips, most people find they can size down easily. For me the shirt actually fits better if I size down.
The Randy Tee This shirt fits true to size.
The Perfect Tee This shirt fits much looser than most of our tops. It has elbow length sleeves, which can be a bit tight if you have large upper arms like me. It has a scoop neck then flows out to a wide hem with slits in the sides. Most people find that they need to size down at least one to get the best fit. If the fabric is stretchy, you could size down two sizes.
The Irma Tunic This shirt is has a high low hem, with the back being longer than the front. The neck is higher and rounder and the sleeves are elbow length and can be a little tight if your upper arms are larger like mine! This is our largest fitting shirt and is meant to be loose. Most people find they need to size down one or two sizes to get the best fit.
The Gigi This is a fitted tee with elbow length sleeves. I have found this shirt runs small. Many people have found they need to size up a size to get the best fit.
The Tank This shirt seems to run true to size. However it is was a little tighter than I personally liked it, so I plan to go up a size. I am sure I will be able to wear both sizes comfortably.
We have several other tops but these are the only ones I have personally tried.
The Azure This is a knee length A line skirt. It runs true to size. However because of the adjustable waist it can be sized up or down for length.
The Cassie This amazing pencil skirt has enough stretch to allow you to walk, dance and even stride confidently. It runs true to size. However depending on how you like the fit, tight or loose, you can size this baby up or down a size.
The Lola One of our most feminine skirts can be dressed up or down. It is made of lace or sheer fabric and is knee length. With the elastic band at the waist it can be sized up or down a size according to your comfort level.
The Lucy This is a longer version of the Lola.
The Madison This skirt is pleated with pockets. It runs true to size. Because of the elastic waist band it can be sized up or down a size according to your comfort level.
The Maxi This skirt is very flexible. It runs true to size, however many people are able to size up or down a size. The waist band is adjustable for length also.
The Amelia This is a hand pleated dress with pockets. This one can be hard to find the right fit. It is usually true to size, unless you get a fabric that does not stretch, then go up a size. I tried for a long time to like this dress, I have larger hips and a small waist. I finally found a dress where the pleats laid across my hips in a flattering way. The perfect combination of fabric and pattern. Once you find the perfect Amelia, it is well worth the wait, and you will start finding more that you love!
The Ana This is a maxi dress. It runs small, particularly through the bust and arms. Size up at least one size. If you a larger in the top area, you may want to size up two sizes. I have also found that the scoop neck is a little wider than I like. So I usually wear a chemise or some type of lacy undergarment for modesty. I love this dress.
The Carly This is one of our loosest fitting and most comfortable dresses. It has a high low hem with the front being higher than the back. This dress runs large. Depending on how long you like it, you can size up or down a size or even two. This one is all about how you like the fit. If you like it snugger up top and and above the knees in the front, go up a size or two. If you prefer it longer or looser up top go up a size or two.
The Julia This is a tee shirt dress. It is fitted and knee length. It runs small. Depending on how fitted you like your dress , you can stay your same size or size up if you like it snug. Size up two or three sizes for an over-sized tee shirt dress.
The Maria This dress runs true to size. However I do wear a size up so I can put a little twist on the side. It is a similar style to the Julia dress up top, only fits much looser in the body. It also is quite long, so if you are short you may want to wear heels.
The Nicole This is the adult twirly dress. It runs small, particularly through the bust and arms. Size up. I have also found that the scoop neck is a little wider than I like. So I usually wear a chemise or some type of lacy undergarment for modesty.
We do have more dresses, but these are the ones I have tried.
One Size Our one size leggings are not one size. They fit sizes 2-10. If you are a 10 you may be able to wear Tall and Curvy also.
Tall and Curvy These fit sizes 12-18. The Tall and Curvy are also misnamed. If you are short and curvy, these are still for you, just roll them up! If you are tall and thin, you will want the One Size, just call them capris!
TC2 These were made for those over size 18. However if are a Tall and Curvy girl, these may still be for you. Don’t be afraid to try them, like I it is not all in the name. Also if you are pregnant, these may be perfect!
